Interface Software Supports Communication Protocols

The LabVIEW Math Interface Toolkit integrates LabVIEW-built functions (VIs) into The MathWorks, Inc. MATLAB software environment, providing a means of collaboration for development teams working in both software programs. With the toolkit, users of MATLAB software can make use of LabVIEW’s I/O connectivity, such as data acquisition devices (DAQ), image acquisition and instrument and motion control. It ports LabVIEW’s graphical user interface, and over 2000 native functions directly from the MATLAB environment. It also supports communication protocols such as TCP/IP and CAN. The interface also compiles LabVIEW applications into MEX-files, which are DLLs built with a specific structure and entry point that the MATLAB software environment can recognize. ?
