LC Research Application Notes
A variety of application notes for the Prominence UFLC includes topics on xanthine derivatives, triarylmethane ink dyes, and soft drinks and are available for download at www.ssi.shimadzu.com/fast. The notes are suited for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and forensics fields. “High-Speed Analysis of Xanthine Derivatives and Triarylmethane Ink Dyes with Ultra Fast HPLC” details the analysis, retention time and peak area reproducibility using the Prominence UFLC. Research found that Shim-pack XR-ODS high-speed columns result in shorter analytical cycle times with systems comprised of conventional hardware while maintaining high separation efficiency and reproducibility performance. The “Fast Analysis of Soft Drinks” UFLC tool is for increasing sample throughput for high volume applications. The fast and efficient separation of drugs in urine with UFLC in combination with the LCMS-2010EV mass spectrometer resulted in the report titled, “Fast Analysis of Drugs in Urine.”
