Karl Fisher Formulations Meet Variety of Needs
Karl Fisher formulations provide high water capacities in coulometric reagents in excess of 1000-mg water/100-mL charge. Titer strengths are available from 0.5 to 5 mg/mL. A reagent that serves as both anolyte and catholyte in diaphramless coulometers is also available, as are stable non-hygroscopic titrants. There are specific formulations for aldehydes and ketones, as well as solvents for water analysis in sugars, oils and waxes. Water standards sealed in ampoules under ultra-dry nitrogen offer optimal stability. WaterMark reagents work with various titrators, including Brinkman and Mettler. Pre-mixed buffer solutions and formulations are free of CFCs, chloroform and methanol.
