Balance Memory Stores Measurement Uncertainty Test Results

Available on LA, ME and SE series balances, the SQmin program allows users to enter into the balance memory the results of the “Measurement Uncertainty” test, which describes the testing and calculation of a balance according to the United States Pharmacopeia. From that point forward, the minimum sample quantity allowed in accordance with the USP is displayed on the balance to ensure compliance. If the minimum sample quantity has not been reached during routine operation, a flashing prompt on the display notifies users. In addition, factory-trained field service technicians can provide on-site calibrations and testing according to USP requirements for any balance. After testing, they will provide a certificate of “Balance Test According to USP Requirements.”
