Tachometer with Red LED Pointer Targets Rotating Objects

The point-and-shoot Traceable tachometer with red LED pointer targets a rotating object, providing instant precision results. Optical, no-contact measurements are made by placing a piece of self-adhesive reflective tape on the rotating object. The red LED light locks on the tape and counts rotations. In 2 seconds, it provides answers from 10 to 99,999 revolutions per minute. Five-digit resolution is 0.001, 0.01, 0.1 or 1, depending on the revolutions displayed. The touch-less, handheld tachometer measures centrifuges, pumps, rollers, shafts, gears, motors and moving surfaces. A hold button freezes results. LCD digits are 0.5 inches high and can be read from 10 feet away. Low battery is indicated on the display, and impact-resistant ABS housing protects the unit.
