Software Drivers Simplify Data Collection

LabVIEW instrument drivers for proprietary PW, PGW and ACBplus balance lines are now availale, enabling seamless integration of the balances in automated laboratory testing, data collection and analysis. PW analytical balances deliver speed and accuracy with 0.1 mg precision. The line has a spacious, easy-to-clean weighing chamber with side and top access along with internal motorized calibration. They offer an array of pre-programmed weighing applications that include percentage, net/total, below-balance and specific gravity determination. The PGW family offers durability and simplicity with the same features as PW balances, and it encompasses 16 models. ACBplus portable precision balances are versatile for basic lab work, field use and various industrial applications. The line has multiple weighing modes, RS232 interface, rechargeable battery pack or AC operation, capacity tracker and removable draft shield. The drivers can be downloaded free from the NI instrument driver network at www.ni.com/idnet.
