Vacuum Inlet Trap Prevents Pump Failures
The VisiTrap vacuum inlet trap features a clear sump for visually monitoring filter condition and accepts various replaceable filter elements for trapping foreign materials that could damage the pump. Suited for up to 20-cfm pumps, the see-through inlet trap can adapt to different processes. An optional wall-mount bracket offers easy installation. Available with all popular port terminations, the trap can be supplied with copper gauze, stainless steel gauze, and a molecular sieve. In addition, Sodasorb, activated charcoal, activated alumina, and PolyPro 2-, 5- and 20-µm filter types protect pumps from particles, acids, solvents or water vapor. Additional options include a dial gauge assembly and vent valve.
