Automation Compatible Tube Rack
The chemically resistant RoboRack-96 polypropylene tube rack is suited for automated applications such as sample storage, liquid level sensing and laboratory logistics. Accommodating 96 individual 1.4-mL tubes in the 96-well configuration, the rack conforms to ANSI/SBS-1 (2004) footprint dimensions to ensure turnkey integration with all commercial automated sample handling and storage systems. Due to a contoured well top design, it provides positive tube lead-in (A1-H12). Any tubes not perfectly delivered to the desired vertical rack location do not cause jamming. Instead, they are guided into the correct well location. The contoured well shape also offers improved access for robotic grippers to retrieve tubes. An open rack air flow architecture system reduces traditional freeze-thaw cycle times. To ensure sample integrity during transport or storage, each tube rack is supplied with a CovLoc lockable lid.
