Optical Dilatometer and Fleximeter Combine

Booth 6920. The MISURA FLEX-ODLT combines an optical dilatometer and fleximeter. The ODLT optical dilatometer carries out thermo-mechanical measurements with no contact on several materials, even up to their complete melting. Measuring both ends of the specimen with two beams of light at the same time without making contact provides an absolute measurement. The FLEX optical fleximeter is used to perform bending analysis of materials without application of loads. It can study the bending caused by differences in thermal expansion or in sintering behavior between coupled materials. These two instruments combined, with a maximum heating rate of 30 C/min and a maximum temperature of 1600 C, make obtaining a range of information about the specimens’ thermal behavior possible.
