Modular Micro-Reactor
Booth 7114. A new micro-reactor, available for the FlowSyn reaction system, offers improvements in reproducibility and performance compared with conventional flow reactor designs. Exchangeable micro reactor technology (EMRT) uses a compact, coiled reactor with optimal controllability, making it possible to reproduce reaction conditions closely in different reaction volumes. Its modular design makes it simple to interchange reactors with different volumes and materials, such as stainless steel, PTFE or PEEK, glass and various specialized materials. Depending on the reactor material, temperatures and pressures up to 200 C and 50 bar can be used. The FlowSyn continuous flow reactor integrates the essential elements for continuous flow chemistry into an easy-to-use package. The reactor offers safe, unattended operation for tasks such as synthesis, reaction optimization and scale-up experiments in quantities from milligrams to hundreds of grams.
