Certified, Mid-point and U.S. Standard Sieves

The certified test sieves are certified to ASTM E-11 specification and are supplied with a serialized certification. The sieves feature a “fillet” that adds tension to the mesh, increasing sieve life. The fillet also forces the material being sieved back to the screening area, eliminating build-up around the sieve’s edge. The bottom or rim is also rolled to add strength to the sieve and to eliminate the typical sharp edge. Mid-point certified sieves have been inspected with a tolerance that has been reduced by 30% and falls in the mid-point of the allowable tolerance. This sieve also provides detailed information regarding apertures that were measured. Additionally, new U.S. standards sieves are designed to be rugged testing sieves, which are made of all stainless steel and meet ASTM standards.
